Whale Watch ~ Hervey Bay ~

Taken by a friend & given to me to place on here.
Hervey Bay ( pronounced Harvey ) is a couple of hours north of Brisbane
and every winter the whales swim up from the colder waters of the Southern Ocean.
It really is a sight not to be missed !!

We have whale watched on both coasts and been in awe of the great creatures. Off of Boston, we enjoyed a 40 ton Humpback and her calf for over a half hour as the calf frolicked and breeched continuously, very near the 39 ton tour boat. Love your shots. Vote.
