He was stretched out on the road taking in the warmth, storing it to get him into the night. About 1.5metres ( 5 foot ) we had to stop the car & encourage him to go back into the rainforest he came from...he was not happy about having his siesta disturbed.

Little does he know that if you hadn't encouraged him to move, he would have had a couple of tyre tracks through him! Creepy, but great pic!

Eeeeeewwwff! I hate snakessss. :o) I'm always having goosebumps whenever I see one even just on a photo.. I really don't like their features. But you're very brave Laine that you even take a photo of this creature.. :o) whoa!

gotta love australia....land of the predators....good'un laine that's the way to encourage tourists to australia by showing them what we have down here. :)
