It wasn't until I resized this that I noticed the fine bird mesh attached to the pillars...the no pigeons allowed sign must not have been enough. :>)
No idea what airline it is...if it hasn't a red tail with a flying kangaroo, then I don't recognize it !!

Great comp, the plane makes the building look more noble in a way. vote.

perhaps they need glasses :) Pigeons are very devious though, they'll soon be nesting here

i wondered why the building is so 'clean'? :)
Karen Stuebing15-Sep-2005 10:05
I can see why they don't want bird poop all over this lovely building. Those ornate pillars are stunning. And the plane is a neat addition. Great catch.

Interesting composition; kind of gave me a start, though..... plane heading for a building...
Karen Leaf15-Sep-2005 03:45
What a cool perspective on this-the plane looks so tiny while the (gorgeous) facade looks HUGE. Love this!

Fabulous contrast between the building & sky & flukey getting
that plane too, looks terrific against that gorgeous blue!

I like the composition here: Fun contrast and angle! I like the "empty blue space".

Those darn pigeons should learn to read! LOL
I think Ray's right...how the heck did he know that? I've never heard of Air Nuigini.
Guest 14-Sep-2005 23:32
Nice catch ... pigeons need to learn to read, I guess! :)

The columns are beautifully detailed- especially against the wonderful blue sky. The "bird" is a great touch.

I was photographing a statue up high on a church facade and I had the same thing occur. When I developed the picture, the statue was covered in screen...much to my dismay!
