I promise I will get back on track & pick up my camera today since last night our guests flew out to go home. Don't remember going so long without having taken a photo.
This historic homestead is now used as my husbands golf club, clubhouse & restaurant. On it's original property but recently moved closer to the greens & restored. Almost all is original interior & outer, though this front covering is an add on ( I do not approve, personally ) Inside the ceilings are original corrugated tin but some of the dado boards lining the walls had to be replaced.

It was late in the day with the sun behind the building & though I corrected in PS a little this was about as light as I could go.

But rather than spend too much time here, go take a look at this good looking group of pbasers that we all know & love doing their Mardi Gras thing over at Paul Dovie Jr's site.

Not many buildings these days using corrugated tin. Nice clubhouse though.

We are not having that problem Laine; we all have taken quite a few pictures in the last four days and tomorrow is the really big day.

Looks like a very nice clubhouse. Glad it was saved for its historical value.

The real interest for me with the building is the corrugated roof. You don't see too many of those over here!

Looks a nice spot for a few rounds. I could do with borrowing one of their gardeners
to get my lawn looking as good as this one. ;)

Yes, that front part looks a little strange on that Austarlian farmhouse. Nice that they kept it instead of demolishing it.
