Hand feeding the Crimson Rosella is a common practise among the tourists & visitors
to Green Mountain, atop of Lamington National Park.
Wasn't easy to find a spot where the camera or I didn't get jostled though.

Lovely -- we have chipmunks that mooch off of us in our National Parks, but I much prefer your birds. For one thing, if you get a little nip you don't have to rush to the nearest clinic to get a tetanus or rabies shot!!!

Another reason for me to go to Australia, you have the best birds down there! Beautiful colors.

wonderful bright plumage. my stepmother-in-law keeps amazon parrots - I am not a fan of
caged birds whatsoever, but they are wonderfully nimble with their big beaks and are
great characters.

The bird in the background looks like its a reflection.
Nice photo Laine!

Beautifully caught at just the right moment.

Isn't that interesting that they have the same pose. I was looking for a third bird, even further away and to the upper left, posing the same again.

Pretty bird!

Beautiful colors. For a moment I thought the second bird was a reflection.

How cool Laine! Love the second bird. Great job.

Laine what an excellent capture! The other bird in the tree is a nice repeat in the image. Nice human interest edge too! BTW The companion on the beach with Bailey is my husband, Steve.
