Are they still making the mike containers? Why not recycle the used containers into new containers? Excellent find and photo, Laine.

Haha, LOL @ JJ!! I have a raft of bags-for-life, sturdy reusable bags which will last me for years. Good idea to recycle milk bottles into shopping trollies

Do they steer any better?

Exactly, Laine! We see the same ones here and thank goodness for this. Far more needed.

Of course this is good to see. We are urged to re-use plastic bags many times over and that is the norm. Shops have to charge for bags with a few exceptions such as sale of wet fish.

Finally we are getting smarter. Love that it tells you how many milk bottles it took to make the cart.

Love the green on the trollies to underscore the eco message....V

I hate plastic bags, but our local grocery store pushes them over paper. Above is a really great idea in recycling.
Dennis Hoyne02-Nov-2023 02:44
Now if they would just quite putting all the products on the shelves in plastic it would help also.
Carl Carbone02-Nov-2023 02:01
Nice to see change for the good. Hopefully the cart will be able to be recycled at the end of its life, too.

What a great shot and a great idea, too.
