Waste not, want not, my elders would say. Granny squares are back in fashion and such a great way to use up leftover yarns...another I've made this year.
I have always loved these. I have one I bought for my mum as a knee rug. Not as clever as you - I didn't make it but I still love it to bits and it is draped on a special chair. Good work Laine and good photography!
Beautiful. When I was a kid, mom crocheted many, many granny square afghans for friends and family. Plus of course, she always kept one of them on her own sofa. Then, my parents retired. After that, gardening & travel became a hobby that they shared together. She stopped crocheting & I never got one of her afghans. Boo hoo. Your crochet work is so beautiful.
