Agapanthas

For those who remember our late friend Yvonne. Her home and beautiful garden were in a fire area at the weekend. Dick and Flossie their little dog evacuated but thankfully with a little rain and the excellent work of rural fire brigades the flames were put out and all was okay. Dick and Flossie returned home the following day once it was safe to do so.

I love agapanthus, the blue colour is so delicate, and this is a fine capture of them. Good to hear all OK with Dick and Flossie the dog

Difficult to imagine Yvonne's fantastic lush garden coming under threat of fire, but thankfully it, Flossie and Dick are fine. I certainly miss Yvonne's daily postings, it is such a loss.

We did think with anguish about Yvonne's beautiful property at Cherry Hills. Thank you, Laine, for the good news of Dick and little Flossie and the home unscathed. Such relief. It is a beautiful area.

I was attracted by this really lovely image. Just beautiful.

My heart then sank when I read about the fire. I'm so thankful the Dick & Flossie got out safely and then were able to return to the home & garden that Von so loved. I miss Yvonne. This photo (even though it's not a rose) reminds me of her.
