A Change for the Better

an old tin bath with peeling paint and a corrugated shower screen. I'm happy the style has changed.

This looks quite amazing in monochrome!
I love the details and the tone...a step back in time!

This is an ancient bathroom without any cosy little touches, Laine. I prefer a walk in modern shower that I have, no baths lol...V

I don't think I would enjoy a long bath in that...

Lived with my Grandparents during the war. Friday night, the tub was hauled in, placed in front of the fire, water boiled on the old coal stove and I, being the smallest and youngest got to use it first. Then up to bed so the adults could take their turn, each one getting more hot water added.

A gritty scene, very well composed.

No wonder people bathed rarely back then. Looks good in b&w.

Wow, that does look old! I'm glad the styles have changed too.

I think it was the 70s and the local council were giving grants to private landlords where homes were still lacking proper bathrooms :-o
