Lyme Park The Italian Garden.

On Thursday 1st August 2019 parts of this beautiful garden and the carpark beyond were washed away in flooding rain. I'm sure it will all be restored but a sad loss just the same.

Lovely image of these gardens, I am sure they will be restored to their best.

As you know we have been in the immediate area this week.
Most of the park is open bar the formal gardens around the hall and the play area.
They are working very hard to bring it up to its former glory but this could take some time.

Yes it was hit pretty bad and there was a lot of water. I read that they closed it but looking at the NT website it looks like its open again!

Wow, I didn't know that. What a loss. Your shot of it is a reminder of how beautiful it was (and hopefully will be again).

Oh that is too bad. I hope they restore it to the beauty of your photo.
