#38

Saturday the 12 th of October 1782

They ordered that a well bucket be purchased for St Catherine's Alms House

I chose this as a favourite image of mine, not for what it is, but what it says. Imagine life with a well and no bucket to collect water.
They were good people who helped the needy back then too.
Here is another I loved reading at the ruins of St Catherine's Alms House, Exeter.

Thank you everyone for your support and comments on this challenge. It's been a great month once again

The calligraphy is beautiful and must have been very difficult to etch into the stone. V
