Inglenook Fireplace

The fire burning in the dining room was just one of many lovely things about our B&B. Our hosts told us when the moved into this charming old farmhouse there were bones from the animals in the ancient Inglenook that would have been tossed into the fire as the meal was eaten....this part of the house was built in the mid 1700's, it was, they said " the new part " The hosts end is much older & they haven't had success in dating it.
