This is an interesting clock, Laine. No matter which big dot is up it can still be the right time. I have a black one that has a big gold dot at the top and that's it.

It's certainly not without its charms but I think I'd have probably stayed with sharp on this one; it's rare that you get a subject which offers the chance of such pure minimalism. But on the other hand... had you done that could it be truly be said to be "filling the frame" as per the gallery title? The grain does achieve that.
