Not a big olive fan, myself, unless they are chopped up and in a stew or something. But, always have some on hand in case of company!

Such a venerable and venerated food, Olives. "The Olive was a native to Asia Minor and spread from Iran, Syria and Palestine to the rest of the Mediterranean basin 6,000 years ago. It is among the oldest known cultivated trees in the world - being grown before the written language was invented." (source History of Olives) Makes you wonder what they used to put on the labels of their bottles of Olives! :o)

Yes, a cup of olives has always to be in the fridge. Does not take much more than garlick, anchovies, chili and olives to make a quick and tasty pasta (and some parsley to put on top)... Nice capture!
