This was a quick trip into La Huasteca, the region of the Sierra Madre Oriental, in southern Tamaulipas and northern San Luis Potosi, Mexico. This was my first time out with two new cameras, the Nikon D80 and Olympus E-420. Unfortunately, we were confronted with a mega heat wave - 40-42 degrees C, and a blazing sun which hindered good photography, too much contrast!
