Half way up the Volcan de Pacaya. At the base, 1800 meters (5900 ft.) a group of stereotypic tourists were loading up on horseback. I took one look and decided I'd rather have a heart attack and croak on the mountain (bury me here) than go up in that fashion. Told my three guides, "let's do it"! Volcan de Agua in the background.
