In Box

Many Moons Ago....for my 21st Birthday I was given a Nikon Fe 35mm, and collected a few lenses too. I dabbled back then as I
still like to dabble now.

When the digital age came I snapped up a little Kodak 3.2 MP taking me back to my days of getting the
first ever Kodak Instamatic.

I thought digital was the best thing since sliced bread so convenient. After a couple of years I dropped it and broke it. So I
bought another this time the Kodak Z720 5.0 mp 10x Zoom and worked that little baby for 4 years.

A few weeks ago I went ass over tea kettle on the ice and the Kodak went airborn, bounced off the house and landed
into a 4 foot snow bank. Haily being the retriever that she is was right there to dig it out and hand it over...waiting for me to
throw it again. After some tender loving care and time to dry out, miraculously it still works.

At the beginning of March I was really lucky and received yet another gift at another milestone in my life. 25 years of Marriage -
Wow! Hubby has been there for almost every one of my photos. Paddled here, stopped the car there, stood still for hours and
toted the "infamous camera bag" on every holiday - what a trooper. He has always known how much I love to take photographs
and thought it was time I moved into a DSLR. After a great deal of deliberation I decided on a Nikon D80. Thus far I am thrilled.

A friend of mine who I met through Airstreaming sent me a subscription to this site as a gift for me and my new camera. She is a
long time photographer and has some pretty amazingly exquisite photographs and compositions. She has been a wealth of
knowledge helping me get up and running with the new camera. Thanks Carol!

Peter and I live in a great spot that has so many subjects to shoot. We have a couple of characters for Pets Taz and Haily.

We hope you enjoy the few (okay the many) photographs that we wish to share with you.....
