CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Would be a bit tough to post all the great times Mom and Dad have shared over 50 years.

Here are just a few to get the day started.....more will be added as we search and find, scan and post.......Taking them from their Honeymoon in Jersey early days together in America, Columbus Mississippi, then back to England and Wales for several years, before they emigrated to Canada in 1968.

The better part of their time was spent in Ajax. Where David and I grew up attending school and playing all sorts of sports never giving Mom and Dad a minutes rest. Mom and Dad gave almost 100% of their time to the Sport of Ringette excelling from the community level through to the Provincial level. For their excellence in volunteerism they are both Hall of Fame inductees. Many life long friends were made throughout those special years who they miss dearly as time ticks on.

They both worked very hard, Dad as Regional Ontario Sales Manager and Mom, a Registered Nurse. When we finally moved away from home Mom and Dad thought it would be nice to relax a bit and live out in the country. So they built their first dream home in Uxbridge on 3 acres. From there they built a second home further east and on the shores of Pigeon Lake in the Kawarthas.

Retirement came and itchy feet to move once again to get closer to the golf course, moving to the quaint town of Bath, Loyalist Estates. Where they spent some good times and not so good times. Made a lot of nice friends during that time whom they still keep in touch with. Needing all their love and strength for each other to see them through some pretty serious health issues.

Survivors they are indeed and now entering their golden years it was time to move closer to family and a spot of heaven in the Kawarthas again.

We must not forget all the wonderful pets that have filled their lives with so much joy...and I would be remise if I did not include their family photos too...

We are so lucky to be able to celebrate their very very special day with them both today. We look forward to the new house being built just down the lane from us, so that we can spend our days together by the sparkling waters of Stoney Lake.

You have done so much for us over the years, and been by our sides every step of the way through our 25 years. This is a unique year and soon we will be able to raise a glass to your 50th and our 25th on the finest piece of Granite in the Kawarthas. Toast the years gone by, the great times we have had, and a special tink tink to the many wonderful years we have ahead.
