Being an Aquarius it is a wonder that I am fascinated by all forms of water.
Crystal formations are a wonder of nature and a rare treat to catch them in full bloom.
This winter we had a spectacular display of icicles. I never ceased to be amazed of the daily changing colours, textures and icicle formations.
I really could have used the new D80 in February during the PolarFest in Bridgenorth, the ice sculptures were magnificent.
The Lakefield dam in the heart of the village presented an opportunity for some unique water shots, with a surprise sheet of stray ice passing under the safety wire.
The Z740 had a hard job with the water droplets dripping off our vintage Airstream during a warm spell in January.
Now in March even the forest offers eye pleasing formations capturing botanical elements frozen in time.
As winter winds down I hope to capture unique melting patterns and the transformation of snow to water. Then progress to rain and can not wait to get down to the Lake to see what enigmatical H2o opportunities I can see, capture and share with you.
This is a difficult gallery to choose my favorites....and even some not so great shots that caught my eye will at least spend a day or two in the gallery just to remind us that as the water is not shy of its imperfections - nor should I be....
