Cannon on the Starboard Bow

The brig Lady Washington is a full-scale reproduction of the first U.S. vessel to make landfall on the west coast of North America. Launched in 1989, the modern Lady Washington is the Official Ship of the State of Washington and was the Interceptor in Pirates of the Carribean! The Lady Washington was launched in 1989 as a Washington State Centennial project. She is a replica of the original Lady Washington, a privateer during the American Revolution. She provides shipboard education programs for schools in 89 ports communities in Washington, Oregon, California, British Columbia and Alaska.
