What another idiot with a camera!

Down in Brian's territory today, Cowichan River estuary. This young eagle had been chasing gulls and sat for a moment on a power pole. Four people all rushed up to take a photo.

Now this is great Jess. Thanks for posting this size of shot as the details really pop.
Fantastic to nail a wild raptor when they only get close for a few seconds. You were in great form here with spot on exposure and perfect shutter speed.
And love that 420mm focal length too....
