Bog Iris

These grow by the thousands in Buttertubs Marsh, they are in fact choking the marsh. They look spectacular but it is a worry that they will eventually choke out all other flora and change the habitat for all wildlife that use this special place.

They are beautiful but they do tend to take over. There's gotta be a way to stop them from spreading out of control! Either way, this is a beautiful image!
