Great Blue Heron in flight.

"Off we go into the wild blue yonder".
Another of my favourite birds, because of loss of habitat and the large Bald Eagle population, (eagles take a lot of GBH eggs and chicks) , GBH are blue listed on Vancouver island though we have a large Heronry in Victoria with approximately 90 nests. Hope to get down there soon.
