Sharp-Shinned Hawk
This sharpie came to lunch today. She is sitting on my bird feeder pole, waiting for lunch. I was surprised as she was quite content to just sit and let me get within 10 feet of her. She has been a visitor for many years mostly in the fall when the bird feeders get very active. This is only the second time I have been able to photograph her as she usually swoops in for a meal and is gone again.
