The Dead & Company show began with the backdrop looking like the interior structure and scaffolding of the sphere. Then after a while, there was what appeared to be a crack in the building, opening up to a street scene in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco, where the Grateful Dead originated. Meanwhile, it became clear that the interior structure was an image of the interior structure, moving to the sides as the crack became larger and larger, along with the music. The next image shows the final view of the street.
