Canon S45 disassembled
This camera was my first foray into digital photography and it took a lot of shots I was pleased with:

But the camera finally died, kaput, and what better way to honor it than to take it completely apart (an affliction of my profession).
Remarkably, two key components of this Canon camera had the Sony name emblazoned on them: the microprocessor and the LCD.
The photo sensor is the small square piece in the lower middle.
