This is the same picture as Frame 1 except this is a screem shot of that picture that shows a Color Histogram of it from PSCS2.

If you have downloaded Frame 1 to follow along then at this time -

Open the Picture in you software –

In PSCS2 open the Histogram – (Windows>Histogram)

Now let us see that Histogram Set Up is proper - Starting from the default setup we must make a few changes for this to work properly.

From the fly out menu (top right arrow in circle at top of Histogram Pallet)

Now use these settings - Check these; Expand view & All Channels View

Show Channel Colors (check optional)

and Show Statistics can be turned off.

Now Change Channel View to Luminosity

Your Histogram should now look like the one in the screenshot above.
