Cuban tree frogs, scientifically known as (Osteopilus septentrionalis) are native to Cuba and the Bahamas, but mainly inhabit islands in the Caribbean region.
Cuban tree frogs are the largest tree frogs in North America, ranging from 2 to 5.5 inches or (5 to 12.7 cm) in length. Its wide diet and ability to thrive amongst humans has made it a highly invasive species with established colonies throughout peninsular Florida, the Hawaiian island of Oahu, and throughout the Caribbean Islands.
Known as outstanding tree climbers, the Cuban tree frogs sleep on trees during the day and hunt for food during the night.
They will eat anything that can fit inside of their mouths with the help of their eyeballs. This species like to eat spiders, crickets, insects, cockroaches and lizards.
