The story illustrated in your comments made me change my mind about my comment - although this contraptions deserves all the attention - I have to say - the photographer has to take some risk while eating, smoking, txting, and shooting (possibly even driving?!?)

In fact I was really lucky, I had just turned down the music as I was concentrating on txting a friend for an address to plumb into the satnav when I heard the car, unfortunately I dropped cigarette ash onto my burger and nearly knocked over my drink whilst reaching for the camera, ah, the perils of modern day motoring!

I heard him coming, there is no other sound like it,
so I grabbed the new p&s and just held it out of the window
backwards and upside down and hoped for the best,
wouldn't have tried that with the big Canon!!!!

Old age means slow reactions. Just realised the angle here.
You have one low down car Julian. Even a Caterham 7 would be higher than this.

I am that Englishman, of that age. I am willing to accept second choice, a new Bentley.
