Canon 5D Normansfield

A local art exhibition held in the Victorian theatre at Normansfield - home to Dr Langdon Down who pioneered work with people with learning difficulties (hence the name of the syndrome) and is now where the Down's Syndrome Association has it's national offices.

It became a NHS hospital until closure in the 1990's when the site was redeveloped by Laing Homes. The Trust is seeking lottery funding for restoration work to this unique historic building.

I took my 5D and shot on auto - and was amazed - the mixture of lighting inside (it was actually very dark) shows how good the WB is, as well as being a real test of exposure and DR. I have reduced the filesize to 50 percent in CS2, they are still BIG files be warned! I will have to recompress eventually to save space but will leave as is for a while. Hope you find these of some interest, Julian.
