Went on a business trip to St. Louis for a couple of days. Stayed at the swank Four Seasons Hotel at Lumiere Place by the Mississippi River. The area by the riverside is run down and they are trying to revive it with the Casino at Lumiere place and a few restaurants at Laclede's Landing in some of the old buildings. The Arch is close by, and is impressive by any measure.
What is did not know was the the Mississippi and the Missouri rivers join up just north of the city.
Pictures are in reverse order in time.
