Winter of 2009-2010 snow storms

This has been a record breaking season. The first storm arrived on Dec 18th and there was enough snow to change our travel plans.

After a few relatively smaller storms, we had a whopper of storm starting Feb 5th, that dumped over two feet of snow and paralyzed Washington DC.

As if this were not enough the previous storm was quickly follwed by another major one that began on the afternoon of Feb 9th and is promising went on through Feb 10th. We had not even dug ourselves out of the previous storm completely.
