The tracks of the Western Maryland Railroad (on this bridge) and the B&O railroad below the bridge crossed at this point in the past. A regional railroad, The Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad, now owns the tracks of the B&O, and connects with the tracks of the CSX railroad just outside of Connellsville.
