This particular visitor center is in the town of Escalante, UT. This National Monument is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The video that they showed at the visitor center of the geology of the place was probably the best one we saw during this entire trip (and we saw quite a few of them at the other national parks).

Unfortunately, the National Monument is undergoing a lot of change under the current government. Large swaths of land are being removed from the monument and given back to the state for potential developmental purposes. Unfortunately, it is all about the money.
