The stick ended up stuck in the canyon after being carried by a flash flood.
This is one of the more popular slot canyons in the world in terms of tourism and visitors. We were not there at the time of year that is best for experiencing the canyon. That happens in the middle of the day in summer, when a beam of sunlight coming through the the top of the canyon can reach the ground.
