There were many Aborginal people in Alice Springs as opposed to all the places that we went to in Australia. The sad part was that most of them did not seem to be very well off. It was a very different impression from what we got in New Zealand - where the Maori and the White folks from Europe appear to have formed integrated themselves into a single society in a much more successful manner.
