Wonderful peek into your life ~ Thanx for sharing it with us. The cross is gorgeous & if the new owners want it removed, you might offer to take it off of their hands.. ;^) GMV!

Great story - Nice shot and quick comment, not that it is the 80 year old daughter and the 104 year old mother. We are now an aging society.

Hard to believe it's been there that long. She must be a very special lady. Wonderful photo and story, Karen.

Great tribute to an old soul

Great texture on this old cross with the paint peeling off with weathering.

This really hit home.
My Grandmother, my Father's Mother, lived to 104.
She was very sharp right to her last day.
Very aware of the world's events; thanks to CNN, she had
what I think were viable solutions to most global issues.
Thank you, Karen, for another deeply touching post.

Karen, Thank you for always bringing us into your life and exposing us to the people you know. Thank you for giving us glimps into the lives of others and letting us see their humanness by sharing their words, thoughts, beliefs, and things that happen in their lives. Thank you for always delivering this to us in the kind and soft way you do.
