I love the idea of putting padding on the bench to encourage loitering. What a wonderful idea and a far cry from all of the n"No Loitering" signs I see in the cities around here.

Is that the Deli Mart?

They don't look like they like the photo making you're doing. (Wow, that's a tortured sentence :^)

If you hadn't said WV I would have thought we were in Mayberry, RFD.
Small town living at it's best.
Breland22-Oct-2005 02:10
Is that William Bendix on the left. I like this as a B&W Karen.
Guest 21-Oct-2005 21:38
Almost looks like its straight out of the 1950's, especially with the B&W

Much better than being where to loiter could mean you get mugged....give me small town life anyday...!! I imagine you can even say good morning without getting an odd look or a " Huh ? " :>)
Costi Jacky 21-Oct-2005 15:43
Lovely and serene picture. people seem to relax on the bench.
Jvan Photography21-Oct-2005 15:31
I want to be able to do that....black and white is nice for this shot. I wonder if they now they are on the internet with people from all over the world looking at them.
Bryan Murahashi21-Oct-2005 15:30
Great small town shot. They look like respectable loiters.

It reminds me of a movie scene. A little story of common people, much more meanigful than so banal action movies.
Time has often a slower dimension and it's good like that.
Black and white is a perfect choice for the spirit of the scene.

Nice in black and white and the gas price is right, too. Very small town U. S. A.
Guest 21-Oct-2005 14:14
if only the guys could swap socks...then they would be matching with their shoes. :))
Guest 21-Oct-2005 14:12
B&W definitely suits this one.
royalld21-Oct-2005 13:34
