Steady hands or image stabilisation.... now if you have both :-)

OK, pie is the desert for the tomato sandwich :)

They look ready for picking. Wish I could put up our bird feeder, but the dang squirrels
will attack that as well. Nice shot.

You need a blind for those birds. I saw a neat little camouflage tent the other day.
The apples look delicious.

I agree with the others....bring on the apple pie, please!

Pie! make pie!! I can't remember the last time I saw a real apple tree - you're very fortunate! (and so are the birds by the sounds of it!)

Excellent and sharp image. You must have very steady hands!

ya gotta love that zoooom !! Apple muffins, apple pie, apple sauce..Now see how well YOU can zoom up that ladder :>) Birds are soooo flighty ( no pun intended )

Nice shot. Hope the birds decide you're okay soon.

Wait for winter; you'll get lots of photos of birds on your feeders. Put up a peanut feeder and you'll get woodpeckers and nuthatches. I actually thinking of coming up here to Michigan in midwinter to photograph the birds....
yah... make that pie!! oooo, that sounds like such a good idea!

Cannot have too many apples! I like these, all nestled in the end of season leaves.

Very nice shot!

Been there, done it..endless minutes of waiting for that "perfect" bird shot. One lands, I slowly ready my camera and manage to capture the blur of wings as it takes flight.

This image brings back memories of my Great Aunt's apple tree so many of them lying on the ground bruised but sweet.

Make us all a pie Karen and share it with us by taking a picture;)

Apple a day, I see you are enjoying your new toy.
