Every year the day after Thanksgiving, I start putting up Xmas decorations.

I bought this old Santa at a yard sale. I prefer the older ornaments to the new ones.

i prefer older style too...has a more nostalgic, cozy holiday feeling.
and a lot of the new lights are just plain annoying. lol

A great looking Santa & a great close up, Karen. Dec 1st is my day for beginning usually but now the grandchildren like to be here to help it's as soon as there's a gap in school times.

I like this Santa! Nice job. He is very colorful, and you can see the texture of his beard. Interesting image.

Great decoration Karen, I like the older stuff too but they are getting harder to find. I'll bet it looks even better when it is all lit up.
