All I can hear right now is Bob Seger . .

I remember standing on the corner at midnight
Trying to get my courage up
There was this long, lovely dancer in a little club downtown
I loved to watch her do her stuff
Through the long, lonely nights she filled my sleep
Her body softly swaying to that smoky beat
Down on Main Street

In the pool halls, the hustlers and the losers
I used to watch 'em through the glass
Well I'd stand outside at closing time
Just to watch her walk on past
Unlike all the other ladies, she looked so young and sweet
As she made her way alone down that empty street
Down on Main Street

And sometimes even now, when I'm feeling lonely and beat
I drift back in time and I find my feet
Down on Main Street

Such an ordinary, yet beautiful street scene. I like the gray skies that set off the fall colors.

Yum, Biscuit World <;0). Beautiful colors in your neck of the woods.

Beautiful colors on your main town street.

Beautiful fall colors. I like the line of the sidewalk leading leading me deeper into the photos. I agree about the wires, although yesterday, I would have screeched to a stop to have shot the sunset being reflected on some wires. There wasn't any shoulder on the road I was driving on.

I agree with Howard yet too I ignore the ugliness and see the beauty such as those trees..so vibrant and alive with color..one can almost feel the cool fall air, smell the aroma of fresh baked biscuits (honey and butter for mine please).

Too I like the isolated feel...here there is so much traffic. This appears to be walker friendly.

I like this picture, especially the tree colors. BUT, as an aside, this just shows how much man has "ruined" nature with those damn electric lines and poles. They are everywhere, marring most all images of nature today. Sure, we need electricity, but couldn't they have gone underground from the start? Oh no, probably not enough profit in that! Oh well. Sorry.

A serene looking Main Street. Do the biscuits come with gravy?

Nice fall colors, the Biscuit World sign takes away the romance.
