This is Petie the chihauhau. Petie likes to slip out of his harness from time to time. We call it "getting undressed." Then we squeal "Petie's naked!" It's pretty gaggy unless you're a dog owner.

Petie got naked a couple weeks ago. Puffie, who we refer to as his brother - another gaggy dog owner thing, chewed up his harness.

Walmart was completely out of harnesses and collars for Petie sized dogs.

So I called a friend who lives close to a Charleston and has access to stores like Petsmart.

Amazingly, they were almost out of harnesses too. What's up with that? This is the only Petie sized one she could find. So she bought it and mailed it to me.

Now, Petie is a very macho dog. He actually thinks he's the alpha dog. We can't break the news to him that he only weighs ten pounds.

So here he is in his pink day glo harness chewing a BIG bone to show he's still a tough guy. It's really Puffie's bone but Petie claims it every now and then.
