Strong B&W.

Marvelous B&W work Karen! Love how you've captured the woody details and interior lighting! V

sadly becoming more familiar...

our churches have all the doors locked shut, I just can't photograph inside anymore. V
Tom LeRoy07-Jul-2013 15:17
Abandoned but not forgotten in this great shot. The B&W tones are masterfully done. V

I like everything about this - textures, tones, everything.

Fabulous photo of this abandoned church. V

The shadowy interior make one curiouser and curiouser. Was it a church? a schoolhouse? or what? Perfectly captured to peek the viewers interest! V
Jeff Real07-Jul-2013 13:47
Perfect. I love to look into the dark here and be rewarded with these shadowy and dusty details. ~V~

Curious,I would want to peek inside this old building and try to imagine its former use...the pews suggest a church...nicely presented in black and white...V

Superbly composed with lovely lines and light/shadow. There is a splendid sense of mystery and sadness. I want to peak further inside. V

A very compelling image Karen. Wonderfully shot and presented.

Good mono of this abandoned church. Nothing digital beats the results from your Mamiya
Jean D06-Jul-2013 23:25
The entrance could possibly indicate an old school house or an abandoned church. Excellent in mono, Karen. ~V

If only this building could talk. I'll bet it has some wonderful stories of its younger days. This image intrigues and draws you in. Beautiful image in B&W. V

An old church perhaps? Well done in black and white and showing the inside. V

One of your best (IMHO) -- nice view inside;
all of the tones & details are first-rate.
Fine total image, Karen!

Poor old place. Nice camera work on tones and details! Interesting textures on the weathered wood and enough light to take a good look inside.
I suppose the boards were nailed across the doorway at some time in the past. Looks like the subfloor is shifted and rotten. I'm always very fascinated by abandoned buildings. Is it haunted? V
Terry Sprague06-Jul-2013 21:09
Wonderful image Karen, with just a peek inside to set the thought to wondering! V
Walter Otto Koenig06-Jul-2013 20:47
Great in b&w. The faint view inside sure draws in the viewer. Very nice tones and clarity. "V"
Martin Lamoon06-Jul-2013 20:09
A great B&W that makes us wonder what is inside. v
Helen Betts06-Jul-2013 19:49
Superb capture in B&W. It looks like it could have been a church, although I guess the pews would be facing in the wrong direction. The planks strewn in front really emphasize the feeling of abandonment. V.
