The shades of red are so pretty, even though the bricks are worn with age. You caught some great light here! V

Stunning golden light makes the bricks glow. The lone building looks sad and neglected.

Great light and shadow in the surrounds and against the buildings...comparison of the buildings shows the ccare of one and the sad neglect of the other...good presentation...V

A fine composition built as a pair. The right one is definitely solitary while the other still has a little life left. ~V

Good time of the day for this rich, low light. There is a feeling of loneliness here. Very nice Karen.

I love the way the sun burnishes the buildings. They are fine old structures, especially the rather neglected one which looks like it could use some TLC. A fine shot. VV

This poor old place does look lonely and neglected, especially in comparison with the other two structures. I see that the balcony came off at some point and I still see the outline of a neighboring structure that was torn down.
The cornice is rather unusual, I don't recall seeing that design before.
Great late afternoon sunlight and long shadows. The warm light certainly shows off the deep reds in the brickwork. V

The light on the old brick is beautiful; very nice verticals at 18mm and
the detail is wonderful right down to the cobblestones!
(Almost looks like my cowtown..)

Lovely warm color and light and an effective composition for this detached building. It looks somewhat lonely sitting there by itself and makes me wonder if something wasn't demolished on either side. V.
