I shot this kadydid because I love them and the sound they make. I wondered why they were called “katydid.” So I googled it and discovered that the “Katydid is a long-horned grasshopper that lives chiefly in trees and shrubs. (The term long-horned refers to the antennae.) The katydid is named for its mating call, Katydid! Katydidn't!
Well, that was kind of a no brainer and this image is a stretch for the challenge but I’m going with it. I learn a great deal from the internet. It’s a wonderful resource.
