No Broadband!?!

West Virginia

Bad, bad storm. 90 mph wind. WV under state of emergency. Power is on but DSL is gone. I'm on dial up. Ugh!!

Everything's okay here. My trailer was amazingly unscathed but a lot of damage all around me and half the state still has no power. No ETA for return of DSL which is out from Bluefield to Charleston in southern WV.

Will catch up when broadband returns. I figure a week but hope I'm wrong.

Thank you everyone for the comments! And I am praying and hope that everyone else in the line of this storm is okay. Meteorologists are calling it the "once in a lifetime storm" because of the way it just tracked from the MidWest to the ocean with stopping or breaking up over the entire southeast in a matter of hours.

So glad to hear you are ok. You still managed to post a very amiable photograph of your dear little friend. Hope he wasn't to frightened by the bad weather. V

Perfect caption for Petie's worried look. I'm glad you and your home are safe and sound. I'm happy that you'll be doing the month of July with your soft focus lens. This is a great start! BV

The puppy has lovely eyes and I bet the dog does well getting attention .
Maybe broadband would be nice , for the dog and yourself.
I hope those storms spared your part of Virginia.
I was not to nice to our area.

Strong portrait with this softness and the catch light in the eyes. He looks worried. "V"
Didn't know about the storm until this morning. Glad that you're ok and that your home was undamaged.

Thank goodness your home is undamaged! Best of luck with a quick fix of the broadband.
Petie looks very nice in soft focus. I like the high key look.

Yes, Petie does look perplexed and bit uncertain. Poor little guy with that big storm raging. A lovely shot, though. I've just been reading about the storm in the newspaper and wondered how you were when I saw it had hit WVirginia too. Pretty challenging time I think. Hope things improve quicker rather than later. Petie really does look troubled -- those ears and eyes are quite alert to the changes.
My ole pup synchronizes with me too : ) Glad you & he were spared anything real bad!
