Looks like a ghost town.

This is an excellent shot, Karen -- just right in mono!
The small town I live in means "cow town" in spanish : )
It's my cup of tea -- so to speak.
San Francisco is fine for VISITING only, IMHO.

Beautiful perspective. Love how it's not marred with a lot of wires.

High noon in modern times. Sure Gary Cooper is coming round the corner soon. Brilliant shot. v

Love the tones and shadows, the street lamps give depth to it. The JCM song really fits! V

This is an exemplary shot. I love the John Cougar song which goes so well with this, but it also makes me think of some of the songs from Springsteen's Nebraska album. Beautifully captured, perfect in B&W. BV

I love this wide street with its fine old buildings and this is a fantastic shot, so timeless in B&W. V

It looks like a ghost town. Terrific point of view and marvelous in black & white. I wonder, "where are the people"? V

A most interesting street scene with a nice play on light and shadows.
A most excellent image at ISO 3000.
Nice monochrome tonal values and excellent image detail.

Looks pretty quiet here. A wide street with plenty of parking, and probably no police car sirens to keep you up at night. Lovely perspective and tones. V

What a lovely clean looking town... we always have leaves blowing around in our towns,
the eucalyptus trees shed all year around. Great shot & verse Karen!

I like the simple architecture and clean lines on this street. Of course the photo is great! With the lamp posts and in B&W, it has an old-timey look which is always appealing too. V

I can sense the history here, see the horses and cowboys (well around here they would have been cowboys lol) and the ladies in their fancy dresses and hats.. romantic works for me in shots like this too!

This is so brilliantly sharp and crisp; wonderful detail. It certainly looks like a place well removed in time from now.
