I trimmed the flowers off the plant today and cut the stem back. Now, the leaves will grow. So I can't really say you've seen the last of the amaryllis but it is the last of the flowers for this year. :)

But I can't recall having seen THIS one. I agree with Bill's comment, but there's something about the arrangement too; it looks out of balance, almost like it's falling, which seems to fit in with the "death" side of "life and death" which is the theme.
