Christmas Eve

West Virginia

For the December Challenge, Book Titles.

The book is "The Night Before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore. Technically, this is poem not a book. But I don't know any Christmas Eve books. :)

Everyone is home enjoying the quiet of the before-holiday-massacre of Christmas paper.

It is funny - this street scene could be lifted up and transplanted into any number of different towns in Ontario. Looks so familiar and I have never seen it.

They're all inside the stores. Nice scene. Love the expanse of it without traffic.

Reminds me of a sci-fi movie... all the people are gone. We had the opposite here, it was a mad house on the main drag, no parking spaces, angry people waving fingers. Not the Christmas spirit! At least your town people can relax and enjoy the day. I love the wide view and those are very pretty decorations on the lamps! V
