Fabulous image. So sad to see what was obviously a fine old house deteriorating like that. The horse makes
it perfect for the title. Loved the book when I read it many years ago. V

Great perspective, tones and details. Nice with the inclusion of the horse. It may be dilapidated, but it has a lot of character. "V"

This must have been a lovely house once. What a shame to see it so dilapidated.
But what a great find and shot for your book title!

Love this shot. The late light and season in which it was captured build the feeling that much time has passed.

I lived and worked in WV for several years. This reminds me of many places like this that I have passed by. Where is this located (county)?

Marvelous shot, with that old house and the horse, looking rather lonely. Great shot for the book, which was one of my favourites when I was a youngster. V
